A relevant musical will be selected for the fall

Roles will be alternated and all students involved equally in musical numbers.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (1 hour) ***
This encore class will feature new musical numbers and scenes in
which all actors will participate and enhance their musical theatre skills

HANNAH MONTANA VARIETY CLASS (1 hour) ***
Students will stage scenes from the hit show, as well as
favorite songs- new material for continuing students-all roles rotated and
everyone included in musical numbers

Tuition: $250 (plus $20 costuming fee*)

Musical Theatre (1 hour)
A condensed version of a Broadway classic.
Scenes and songs will be selected based on the outcome of
enrollment for the class.

the latest hit songs songs. Roles will be rotated and everyone

PERFORMING ARTS
FOR
HOME SCHOOLERS (1 hour) ***
A lively class combining an overview of acting and musical theatre training, resulting in a performance experience determined by the group of students enrolled.
WEEKDAYS (time, curriculum and age range flexible. Minimum 8 students to
establish a class for your group- contact us for details/arrangements )
Tuition: $175 per child (plus $15 costuming fee*)

DRAMA KIDS (45 minutes) ***
Stars-to-be will love the limelight,
acting out familiar situations, singing favorite Broadway songs,
and expanding their creativity through drama games, the use of puppets,
costumes and props. New material for continuing students.

Tuition: $150 (plus $15 costuming fee )

DRAMA WORKSHOP
Acting skills customized to each child's level with
appropriate emphasis on character development and a balance
between the arts of comedy and drama
Date and Time TBA (Ages 8-10, 11-15 )
Tuition: $200 (plus $15 costuming fee )

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE (30 minutes) ***
Learn the techniques of basic dance steps used in musical theatre-
including advanced movement for continuing students

Tuition: $95 (plus $15 costuming fee )

PRIVATE AND SEMI- PRIVATE COACHING
Coaching sessions with Kathy MacDonald (Director of Young Artists Theatre), customized to obtain your child or teen's specific goals - improvement in acting, vocal or movement technique, a combination of techniques, or preparation for an upcoming audition.
Schedule private time, or join with a like-minded student (or contact us about finding a partner for semi-private coaching)

Enrollment Policy
Enrollment will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis.

Attendance/Showcase Policy
Students are permitted 1 absence from scheduled class meetings for which they register and still participate in the Showcase Performance at semester's end (except for emergency or illness).. All students must attend the final meeting of their class in order to participate in the Showcase (contact us if you anticipate a problem) Tickets for the Showcase are $5 per person (children under 3 not admitted). Cameras and recording devices of any kind are not permitted at the Showcase. DVDs are available for purchase. Other restrictions may apply.

Discounts
A 10% discount is offered to students taking multiple classes (10% off the tuition price of the second and subsequent classes, of equal or lesser tuition.) The discount applies to TUITION ONLY, not costuming fees, We also offer a 10% discount for children in the same family (10% off one or more siblings' tuitions). A combined discount of 15% is offered for students with siblings who also take multiple classes. Please contact us for details.

Class Policy
Most classes require some memorization of material outside of class. Students may be required to provide individual items of apparel including shoes, leotards, tights or "street clothes" such as blue jeans, t-shirts, black pants, shoes etc. Costuming fees go toward defraying expenses for costumes provided or purchased by Young Artists, Inc., and remain the theatre's property. Proper shoes are required for dance class participation. Please call us with any questions.

Refund Policy/Quality Guarantee
Full refund will be made prior to the second meeting of any class. There will be no refunds made after Sept __, 2008
